Hiring a professional designer to create your web presence might just be the best decision you can make for your business. A lot of online business owners start with no money and they have to do everything themselves — the preparation of a product, the development of a marketing strategy, and the actual building of a website to cater to their product’s marketing needs. As their business expands over time, they will find that their simple “homemade” site might not be enough to cover everything, and they will have to take a day or two away to simply dedicate to their website expansion.
Sound familiar? Chances are, you’re someone who started everything with no money too, so you’re pretty skeptical when it comes to giving away your money in exchange for something that you could have done yourself. However, there is a lot more to hiring a designer than just finishing up a job that you don’t want to do.

The title is vitally important to how Google and the other search engines rank you. It’s probably the single most important part of a webpage. But it’s often neglected or badly-worded. I’m as guilty of this as the next guy. I come from a magazine-writing and radio copy-writing background.
I love the doubl entendre and the wacky headline. I saw one yesterday in The Sydney Morning Herald, as it happens. Heading a story on a so-called Millionaire who became a Buddhist monk and was busted several times for growing and supplying hydroponic pot.
The Sub-Editor had a lot of fun with this story by heading it Felonious Monk (From Thelonious Monk the jazz musician). But while that’s pretty slick for a newspaper, it’s not much good as a heading for an online story. Why? Because they are bad keywords. Nobody’s going to Google Felonious Monk are they?

Preventing Pc Errors
Author: Kelly Liyakasa
One of the primary causes of PC problems and irritating errors is deleting files. For many of us, when we see a program we don’t recall or see a file we deem unimportant, we’re quick to delete and erase it. What many of us don’t realize is: these seemingly harmless actions can result in headaches and errors further down the line.
Windows registry errors are a result of broken file paths, missing extensions and basically any interruption in our operating system. Downloading free trials and new software is a common practice for any computer owner. But, erasing unwanted programs isn’t as easy as the install process. There are plenty of things to keep in mind before we click ‘delete.’
• The best place to uninstall a program is through the Control Panel’s ‘Add/Remove’ Program List.

A friend of mine sent this to me today and I thought you would appreciate the info.
I’ve been in petroleum pipeline business for about 31 years, currently
working for the Kinder-Morgan Pipeline here in San Jose, CA. We deliver
about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period from the pipe line; one day
it’s diesel, the next day it’s jet fuel and gasoline. We have 34 storage
tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 gallons. Here are some
tricks to help you get your money’s worth.

Today I am going to be talking about different ways you can make a computer run faster. There is actually a lot you can do yourself that will boost your PC’s performance. So lets take a look at different ways we can remedy that slow computer of yours!
1. Free Up Disk Space
A great way to make a computer run faster is to free up some disk space. Windows comes with a disk cleanup tool that helps you free up space on your hard disk. The utility identifies files that you can safely delete without messing anything up, and then enables you to choose whether you want to delete some or all of the identified files.
How to use disk cleanup tool.
* Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup. If several drives are available, you might be prompted to specify which drive you want to clean.

You know by now that I do a lot of work with blogs. I also spend a lot of time looking for ways to monetize blogs so I can make some money from them and share that info with you. Last night I stumbled across this video and I was in awe.
===>>> http://www.plaintechtalk.com/recommends/blogcash
Don’t let me get too carried away , but seriously I went and implemented it on my main blog right away. This is a real deal video here. It not only helps you with daily, relevant, multi-media content, it also allows you to make money every time someone opens up your blog page.
That’s right not if they click or if they buy something but just for them opening your blog page..fantastic. Anyways. I thought you would really love to have access to this information. Please watch it and then DO IT. You will be impressed.

Nashville, TN – Today, Connected Tennessee announced the release of the State of Tennessee’s first comprehensive technology survey – Tennessee’s Technology Trends 2007. The two-part assessment highlights use and impact of computers, the Internet and broadband technology among Tennessee residents and businesses. The survey involves nearly 10,000 Tennesseans and more than 800 businesses representing each of Tennessee’s 95 counties.
The first portion of the survey examines technology use among Tennessee residents according to various key factors such as geographic region, age, education and income.
The survey found that, on average, 43% of Tennesseans have a broadband connection in their home. However, only 19 of the 95 counties in Tennessee currently meet or surpass that average.
Contributing to that statistic are the rural areas of the state, which tend to fall dramatically short of the state average of broadband adoption. Only 27% of residents in rural communities have a high-speed Internet connection. Some noteworthy exceptions include the rural counties of Cumberland, Weakley and Cheatham counties, where broadband adoption rates exceed that of the state average.

Are you familiar with the expression “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”? This is absolutely true in regards to protecting your identity from being stolen rather than dealing with the trauma and cost of being a victim.
It must be stated here that there are no guarantees that the steps you take will prevent your identity from being stolen. Personal information is available from sources (including government, employment and other business records) that we are not in a position to personally protect.
Taking steps to limit the use of our personal information makes it more difficult to become a target. Proper disposal of personal records and other common sense steps will also thwart any opportunistic thieves.
