Find The Best Prices on Residential DSL Service

Residential DSL Service

Commission River offers a wide variety of broadband services and

access methods to best suit the needs of the individual customer.

Our automated quotation system will search for all available residential

broadband services at the location you specify. Unlike dial-up, all of our

products offer full, broadband speeds and an always-on connection,

regardless of the technology being used. Some of your choices may include:

ADSL

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line, or ADSL, is a broadband service that requires you to have an existing (residential) analog phone line at your location. ADSL uses the existing copper wiring from your local telephone company to carry its broadband signal directly to your home. You must be within approximately 15,000 feet of your local telephone company’s nearest Central Office in order for ADSL service to work at top speeds. In some cases, this can be extended to 20,000 feet or more, albeit at slower speeds. ShopforDSL.com’s patented technology will automatically calculate the distance between your residence and the nearest Central Office in order to determine if you qualify for this service, and at what speeds. ADSL will not affect your regular telephone service in any way.

SDSL

Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line is commonly known in the industry as “Naked DSL”, or “SDSL” service. Unlike ADSL, SDSL does not require you to have an existing phone line with your local telephone company or subscribe to analog telephone service. SDSL uses the same copper wires that are normally used for making voice telephone calls. However, SDSL lines are completely dedicated to carrying broadband data for Internet connectivity.

Broadband Via Satellite

Is a wireless technology that requires no connection to your local telephone or cable company. Unlike DSL and cable modem technology, satellite broadband service is available anywhere in the U.S. with a clear view of the Southern horizon. Therefore, most searches will show this as an available option. All systems include professional installation with your subscription. A local installer will make certain that your location is not obstructed by trees or other objects prior to performing the actual installation.

Cable Modem Service

Where available, cable modem service provides high-speed Internet connectivity using a combination of fiber optics and coaxial cable. Cable modem service is often available as part of a “triple-play” bundle of services that include broadband Internet connectivity, digital cable television programming and digital telephone service. Installation is done by your local cable company. Download speeds are among the fastest available anywhere. Upload speeds are slower, but more than fast enough for the vast majority of applications.

Since Ron Paul Dropped Out I decided To Run For President.

Ok I took the plunge. If the country isn’t smart enough to elect Ron Paul, I figured that they may be dumb enough to elect ME. I went through all the legalities and I can’t believe what is happening now. It is AMAZING to say the least. Get out there and do your part to elect a normal, everyday American citizen as your next president. Vote Nathan Hull in 2008!

Common Sense While Using Social Networking Sites

When it comes to internet safety, a large amount of focus has been placed on teenagers and the use of social networking websites. Although it is important for teenagers to be careful when using these popular websites, they are not the only ones who should be concerned with their safety. If you are an adult, who enjoys networking online, you should also be cautious when it comes to meeting and communicating with other internet users.

Although social networking websites are a great place to meet other internet users, especially ones with interests that are similar to yours, they can also be dangerous. In recent years, there have been numerous reports of instances when individuals were harmed when they went to meet an individual that they met on an online social network, which includes dating websites. If you are not careful and cautious, the same thing could happen to you. This does not mean that you should be filled with fear; however, it does mean that you need to be cautious online. 4 Of The Best List Building Secrets Exposed

Sorry about the lack of a column last week as I was away on vacation. I will try to make it up this week by giving you some extra content.

The money is in the list! The money is in the list! The money is in the list! How many times have we heard every internet guru on the planet say this? Hundreds? Thousands? All with good reason. Even while I was away on vacation I was able to send offers and info to my list and receive payments from them while sitting on the beach.

The money is in the list!

In this article I’m going to show you how to add quality subscribers to your list without spending a fortune in the process.

So let’s get started!

List Building Secret #1 - Making Your Content Relevant Keeps Your Subscribers Happy And Boosts The Amount Of People Who Will Recommend Your Newsletter To Their Friends.

One of the biggest problems I see with newsletter and e-zine publishers online is that they write about subjects no one in their market is interested in. They just write about whatever they think people want to know about without doing any of the research, which is a huge no no.

Another problem is, publishers who have a market well defined, don’t then write the content in their newsletters that interests their readers. There is no use having an e-zine on coin collecting and running articles on stamp collecting just because you couldn’t be bothered finding the right content for your e-zine.

This is easily overcome. Just send out an email asking your readers what they want to read. Also sign up for other e-zines in your market and see what they are writing about.

The Vacation Pics I promised

Ok I finally have the vacation pictures uploaded. I cant believe what I did. I had my camera settings wrong and messed up about 80% of the pics. I really need to practice what I preach but oh well. I never take pictures. I just get caught up in the moment and don’t think of it until after the fact. Anyway, I did manage to get a few decent shots of my kids so I am just going to post those. I did remember to take some more pics after I got the settings right, too bad it was on the last night we were there. Night time beach shots from a very amatuer photographer just aren’t worth looking at:
