When many people come online looking to start a business, their primary aim is to generate profits and make a good living. However, making money for yourself is only a small part of the equation, and it is far more important to actually help other people. Eric Risley and business parter Miles Haselgrove have agreed to develop a series of websites designed to promote clickbank affiliate products and give 50% to organizations such as Rainforest Rescue, a non-for-profit charity aimed at improving rainforest restoration and conservation.
“The internet has a global reach and we figure that it’s an ideal medium to quickly raise money for worthy causes”, says Eric. Thriving online businesses tend to have a large database of customers and a real ability to influence others. Simply by sending out an email or placing a banner on your website, marketers can make a difference, even with low amounts of traffic.
The plan is to create three or four of websites (promoted via basic SEO) with advertising for various environmental organizations, mostly Rainforest Rescue in Australia. A link builder will be assigned to work on the websites full time in order to kickstart the revenue.
