I plugged in my ipod into a pc to charge it picked up a virus..my antivirus software removes it from my laptop when i plug it in there, but even when i scan the hardware with the anti-virus program it say..no virus detected. I have the same problem with my memory stick or flash drive. Can anyone give some advice on how i can get rid of the virus.

For your iPod try restoring it. IT WILL WIPE YOUR IPODS HARDDRIVE!
As for the pen drive try reformatting it. and again it will wipe the drive!
try scanning for spyware with something like Ad-Aware (free)
Doing a factory reset on your iPod would do it… but be careful that it doesn't first infect your computer, and then reinfect the iPod.
With a flash drive, you might be able to reformat it, I'm not sure. I would probably spend a few bucks for a new, not infected one. (depending on its size)
