karaokesteve Said,
cover the entire front in blue painters tape would be my guess
alogli Said,
is there a majhor roblem with just letting the paint like it is after applying it?
Yosed100 Said,
You should keep spraying instead of ‘bursting’ the paint on. It may cost a bit more paint, you dont have the risk of droplets coming out.
PIRATE09IT Said,
Hey Bill, I was in the first part of the painting process, taking the existing paint off by sanding, my question is does it matter if while I’m sanding I make mark on the panel?
Charles55559 Said,
is it possible to paint only the interor of a case like my case is a thermaltake vh6000 and i cant remove the front from the chasis but i dont want to apply some paint accidently on it. what should i do, should i make it done by professionals?
MonsterMawd Said,
Yep, I want my finish to be durable
THEJEDEYEMASTER Said,
it seems like you’re using a ton of paint for 1 layer..
GamersVilleNet Said,
with the inside of your case you can just scuff up the inside with about 400 grit sandpaper before painting….. apply a few coats of self-etching primer or metal primer these primers will allow for max adhesion on bare materials and will not require any post sanding for the primer. apply some even, light coats of paint and your done
lil0egy0kid Said,
why do i need to sand cant i just buy a can of black spray paint to paint the inside of my case let it air dry and were all happy? would that work? what advantages do i get from sanding and all tgis stuff etc…
DROFDNAS Said,
what paint will i need for a case made of steel? (coolmaster HAF)
DROFDNAS Said,
why do you need to sand?
Hilmarhd Said,
keep a good distance from the object you are spraying, if the paint sets down on one part of the case it gets to heavy and starts leaking.
tehzade Said,
don’t hold it so close.
rmalik23 Said,
first of all. spray in a well ventilated area and use short bursts. keeping it upright does help a lot.
SPLITZRZR Said,
thanks man this helps me alot!
footballplayayo Said,
How do you avoid having excess paint sinking down and messing everything up when you’re spraying with that much (in your video)?
MonsterMawd Said,
check out the video response to this video, for painting plastic, sand the surface with med grit sandpaper, (300 – 400 grit) use a Flexible primer for plastic from Auto parts store, or Krylon brand FUSION to paint plastic
computeruler Said,
i want to completely paint my whole computer case what should i do on the inside? and how bout painting plastic becuase the front part of my computer is plastic
tehzade Said,
If I were to paint the chassis of the antec 300, my dad told me that I just need to scuff it up with a scuff pad. He paints cars professionally and I’ve painted a drive bay thing out of an emachines case, he said I did a very good job. So I wouldn’t have to prime it unless bare metal was exposed.
XclusiveFilms08 Said,
duh?
knuckles305786 Said,
What is so good about “self-etching” primer?
I have an Antec Nine Hundred, that I want to paint “Flat Black” What tools do I need and how do I use them? If you can do a video that would be fine. Either way of telling me is a thumbs up.
MonsterMawd Said,
Yes, I always use “self-etching” primer
knuckles305786 Said,
So. It goes like this
(sand, prime, paint)?
gunzkevin Said,
