worst fucking computer ive ever bought
acer to an qosmio thats like going from a kia to a Bugatti.
This is the first time I heard of a notebook with an 18-inch screen, the graphics are very nicely recorded by your camera and simulate a desktop pc’s LCD monitor.
I also saw in your link that the specs are pretty good for mainstream usage.
I just read that it weighs 11 pounds, so it’s like a desktop replacement rather than a go-along-anywhere type of notebook. But it’s very impressive.

alri well im 17 and i use my toshiba laptop in school .. i have to use it cause of a acciednt i had years ago .. i spent €900 euros on my toshiba laptop and now it wasnt this model .. evertime i put it into high preformance or balance it just switch off on me for now reason. i sent it away to get fixed and they said thier was no probelm . so i sent it to pc world the said nothing the can do . after less than a year i have to purcase a new laptop 2moro ? any recommendations ?
Well three things come to mind when I read your comment: 1> I’ve had no problems with this laptop, it’s been fantastic! 2> You’re certainly entitled to your opinion, but you could maybe say why you don’t like Toshiba (that’d be more constructive) and 3> I would have bought a Macbook but at the time they wanted $1,300.00+ for a 13 inch screen! I’m glad they finally dropped the price but it’s a little late for me. Anyway, thanks for the comment but I think Toshiba did a great job on this unit.

The screen is glossy but I haven’t had any problem with it. I probably paid too much but this is the perfect laptop for me.
How glossy is the screen? I prefer NON-Glossy screens, but they are impossible to find. Are the reflections distracting?
Nice Review! I think im sold on this unit. I was also looking at the Dell Studio 17 and Vostro, but I found a Qosmio G50-042 with a 2Duo processor P8600

Toshiba Quad Core HD processor
For $1800 Canadian. Expensive, but seems well worth the money since the quality is so good. No BluRay is a little crappy, but I think the amazing screen will make up for it.
