i’m planning to buy a 2nd hand CPU to play NFS undercover coz my laptop is running slow on it. .full of lags, etc…. what are the minimum? not probably the best specs for a pc. .the one where you can play it without lagging. .tnx.
My computer is about 4 years old and it runs NFS fine.
It’s CPU is 3.2 GHZ, single (as in not quod core or anything)
Video card: Radeon x1950 PRO (I upgraded it, it was about £100)
RAM: 2GB (but its hard to find a computer now-a-days with less)
I run it on medium quality.
Here are the official specs:
- Windows XP and VISTA with latest service pack installed
- Intel Pentium 4 (or equivalent) CPU running at 2.8GHz or higher (3.0GHz if running Windows Vista)
- 1GB RAM
- Geforce 6500, Radeon 9500 or better DirectX compliant video card with Pixel shader 2.0 or above (AGP and PCIe only) using a supported chipset (see below)
DirectX compatible sound card
- 8X or faster DVD Drive
- 5.5 GB of HD space required to install game
