   The game was one of the weaker in the series. The horror element was completely gone. I liked how they explained the origins of the virus, but weskers whole spreading the urobouros virus across the world plan was, well, stupid. Whatever happened to the heat factor of the game? If you stayed out in the sun too long or if you didn’t drink water you would start to hallucenate from dehydration. That along with many other ideas were scrapped. It hurts to say but the game was a big dissapointment.

   gameplay was very good they had to go with over the sholder because do you honestly belevie that the crapy view form 1,2, and 3 would of worked?
   it was fun , good choice of wepons and fun to upgrade and unlock secret ones.
   to realy what was terrible about it?

    it certainly strayed away from the genre of survival horror. its much easier to survive and its not much of a horror.

    Resident Evil series is a “survival horror”
    that means you have to survive and have limited ammo. RE5 feels like GOW with zombies, no more dark creep place to crawl around ToT

    have you even played for more than like 10 seconds? the controls aren’t bad they just take a little getting used to and yeah the ai is pretty bad but it’s manageable if you’re a half way decent gamer. people should really give games a chance before they bash them. re5 is a great game

    the controls are eally akward and clunky, it takes the fun out of the game because by the time you get used to them you have more than likely played and replayed levels and that takes away from anything new you see, plus the ai in single player is really frustrating ! your partner dies game over..but it looks great but thats not everything, I do agree it has little to do with imo with resident evil,

    Gears Of War. Killzone. Gears Of War. Killzone. Why is Resident Evil being compared to these games? The series has been around for 13 years, Killzone and G.O.W have been around for how many? 2?

    See now thats exactly what Resident Evil 5 lacked, character back story….and the story did not progress at a healthy pace, the main story started too late and ended too fast. Nonethless, it is still a fantastic, super fun game. It just lacked something that even Resident Evil 4 pulled off.

    the controlls a just fine if u make it like gears of war (which is what your suggesting) it would be extremely easy to fly through the game fighting enemies with axes, spears, and in the last few chapters machine guns. Don’t you think its easy enough with being able to have a partner cover you, or being able get cover by walls and boxes. But you are right that maybe they should give more controll optons for people like you, but they should also keep the old controlls to.

    i sorta agree, i would just say, it is neccasary black people live in Africa, and besides its fantasy, in Res 4 you were killing Spanish, and i didnt take offense, it would be boring it all the games were set in Raccon City, or America.
