   Its great that this is out but we need just a PDF Reader alone for those who wants to download E-BOOKS and read them instantly (just a gadget that reads PDF only with 3 buttons on off next and prev also used for menu select n a diffrent one thats touch screen so it won’t hit the 100 quid hole in the pocket. (E-books are cheaper due to no cost of print paper n packaging from d.l) Book could become less this way like 4quid a book or something around there.

    This is not meant to replace books. I love books and I love collecting them too so I would never exchange them for an electronic reader. I do feel that this reader can help with ecological issues : less cutting down trees and less waste. I am a student and I appreciate the fact that I don’t have to carry tons of books with me everyday thanks to the sony reader.

    very good post. True it would be alot easier for them to mess with the info (if any of it even survived over time) but dont think they havn’t already. ALOT of ancient knowledge and documents/artifacts have been lost, destroyed and or misinterpreted. There’s a reason they have tryed to all but wipe out indiginous peoples ad their knowledge from the world.
