lol you got that from microsoft didnt you? but your right, Ms bootvis will not do the job!

  2. XEdgeManX Said,

A real way to speed up your computer is go to START/RUN (type) msconfig choose BOOT.INI tab select /NOGUIBOOT option. Saves a ton of virtual space getting rid of the Windows logo loading theme at start up. Also you can do a lot of other things to speed up your PC through MSCONFIG, try it out!

Bootvis.exe is not a tool that will improve boot/resume performance for end users. Contrary to some published reports, Bootvis.exe cannot reduce or alter a system’s boot or resume performance. The boot optimization routines invoked by Bootvis.exe are built into Windows XP. These routines run automatically at pre-determined times as part of the normal operation of the operating system.

selecting NOGUIBOOT just makes it show no pictures when booting, all you see is text. So if your computer won’t start, you fucked it up yourself.

  18. jack9547 Said,

if you try what’s in that comment from xedgemanx, and you do a disk check, your computer WONT START!

  19. Scotishirony Said,

you don’t have to download programs to speed up your system!!! go to my channel to find out how doing it the safe way!!

  20. jack9547 Said,

THANK YOU! I was wondering for so long why that happened!

  21. Xviv8448vivX Said,

dude when u do disk check with the NOGUIBOOT check that just means you dont see whats going on meaning it wont show the blue screen with all the text…but it’s still going on so u just have to wait like u would normally except u cant see the progress…

  22. 007agent0007 Said,

    Yes it works.
I tried it on Celeron 1000MHz
cca 250% faster to boot up.

  23. FilmBorne Said,

    noob!!!

  24. Scotishirony Said,

You don’t need software to speed up boot time all you need to do is go to “msconfig” then Startup uncheck needless items like yahoo messenger, Java update, Adobe reader update, and any other useless items mostly spyware and ect… also going to device manager and disabling unneeded hardware you do not use like the old printer port also the old COM Port or any others hardware you no not use. If you are using a PCI sound and Video card disabling the intergraded audio and video will help.
